Taylor Lanoue Named as PCCF Scholarship Coordinator

Taylor Lanoue has been promoted to the position of Scholarship Coordinator as of September 1, 2024. She was formally the Administrative Assistant for the Foundation.

Lanoue joined the Foundation in October 2023 as an hourly employee while completing her psychology / business degree at CSU-Pueblo and became a full-time employee in January of this year. In her administration position, she not only assisted the Foundation staff and consultants with general office needs but lent tremendous assistance to the previous Scholarship personnel due to her keen organizational skills.

“When the scholarship position became available, Taylor was a natural choice,” explained Martha Simmons. “Taylor has strong ties to Pueblo Community College,” explained Simmons. “She was a concurrent enrollment student at the College while at East High School and was active with Upward Bound. Thanks to her many roles with Upward Bound, she developed a keen knowledge of the institution and the became aware of the special needs of students!”

Lanoue is currently working to award over $1,030,000 in scholarship awards to current PCC students; the largest amount of scholarships ever awarded by PCCF. This year’s scholarships will be awarded to over 400 students who are attending classes at any one of PCC’s campuses in Pueblo, Canon City, Durango and Mancos/Cortez.

After current awarding is completed, Lanoue will begin working on the 2025/2026 application that will open on December 1 through March 31. For information on how to make application for next year’s scholarships, call Lanoue at 719.544.0677 or email to Scholarship@puebloccfoundation.org.
