The Pueblo Community College Foundation is most honored to be associated with the Kane Family Foundation with the ability to offer merit-based scholarship opportunities to Pueblo Community College students.
Below is a listing of those scholarships offered via the Pueblo Community College Foundation
Kane Family Foundation Scholarship – PCC – 8 total scholarships/year
Award is cost of in-state tuition, mandatory course fees, and required books for scholars attaining an associate degree at Pueblo Community College – Pueblo Campus
Requirements:
- High school grade point average of at least 3.25 or a minimum of 12 hours of 100 level courses at Pueblo Community College with at least a 3.25 grade point average prior to scholarship consideration if the candidate is a non-traditional student and most relevant measure of potential for educational success.
- Carry 12 cr hr per semester
- Maintain 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Seek an associate degree within a period of 2 consecutive years from beginning first semester at PCC
- Prefer incoming High School graduates demonstrating high potential for success
- Must attend PCC Foundation Scholarship Luncheon in October
SCHOLARS SELECTION TIMELINE
- Pueblo Community College Foundation Scholarship Application opens December 1; deadline to submit application March 31.
- Apply using PCC Foundation online scholarship application – Click Here.
- Kane Family Scholarship candidates are extracted from application pool after submission deadline.
- Candidates are screened via telephone to:
- Ascertain interest in Kane Family Scholar – University Connections Scholarship
- Ascertain commitment to destination university
- Schedule candidate interview
- Candidate interviews are completed by May 1 to rate candidates on:
- Motivation and potential for academic success
- Interviewees are notified within three business days of selection panel’s decision.
- Awardees are given five business days to accept the scholarship award. If declined, alternates are notified and given five business days to accept the scholarship award.
