PCC Foundation Scholarships
During the current academic year, the PCC Foundation awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to those students attending classes at the Pueblo Campus, the Fremont Campus or on the Southwest Campuses (Durango, Mancos/Cortez and now Bayfield). Although this amount seems high it is not nearly enough to award those students who are pursuing their higher educational endeavors at Pueblo Community Colege.
The PCC Foundation is always on the lookout for new scholarship opportunities in order to offer more students the opportunity to attend college with less financial debt. Your support of the PCC Foundation Scholarship Program can be the key to assisting one more student and offering our communities a highly educated workforce.
PCC Programs of Academic Excellence
Pueblo Community College has been recognized locally, regionally and throughout the nation for the level of education offered to its student population. Panther Student Pantry
Many students who attend Pueblo Community College struggle to pay the bills, attend college and provide or their family’s necessities. The PCC Panther Student Pantry (located on the Pueblo, Fremont and Mancos/Cortez campuses) offer students the abiity to acquire non-perishable food items and hygiene products on a weekly basis. The PCC Foundation works in tandem with the PCC Associated Student Government in an effort to raise the funding needed to purchase – for pennies on the dollar – these food and hygiene items to offer to our students in need. A donation to the PCC Panther Student Pantry can make a tremendous difference to that student in need of food staples to keep themselves and their family members fed.
Whatever your donation, the PCC Foundation will be grateful for your support during the Season of Giving (November 28 – December 31). Your donation will be the key to our ultimate success in going over and above to support students and programs at Pueblo Community College!
