Pueblo Community College Receives Another National Recognition
The Denver Business Journal published the outcome of a study conducted by WalletHub on 2015’s Best and Worst Community Colleges. Overall, Aims took the No. 116 spot out of the 670 institutions nationwide, ranking 75 for cost and financing, 134 for classroom experience, 51 for educational outcome and 581 for career outcomes.
Also in the WalletHub’s ranking, Arapahoe Community College in Littleton was one of two metro Denver community college analyzed. Notably, it took the No. 185 spot for career outcomes, but lower for other categories — 547 for cost & financing, 638 for classroom experience and 542 for educational outcome, landing it the No. 614 spot overall.
Here’s how other Colorado colleges stacked up:
- Colorado Mountain College, Glenwood Springs — overall: 136 — 63 for cost & financing; 170 for classroom experience; 309 for educational outcome; 453 for career outcomes.
- Pueblo Community College, Pueblo — overall: 191 — 461 for cost & financing; 78 for classroom experience; 335 for educational outcome; 287 for career outcomes.
- Front Range Community College, Westminster — overall 428 — 511 for cost & financing; 362 for classroom experience; 409 for educational outcome; 288 for career outcomes.
- Western Colorado Community College, Grand Junction — overall 506 — 626 for cost & financing; 396 for classroom experience; 203 for educational outcome; 294 for career outcomes.
Pikes Peak Community College, Colorado Springs — overall tied for 641 — 474 for cost & financing; 472 for classroom experience; 602 for educational outcome; 526 for career outcomes
