PCC Scholarship Program to benefit from Saturday Shred-A-Thon

Pueblo Community College and the Credit Union of Colorado have scheduled a Shred-a-Thon from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 1721 U.S. 50, to help prevent identity theft while helping raise student scholarship funds.

Documents should be brought in either cardboard boxes or trash bags and there is a limit of three containers per household. They should be free of paper clips and other metal (staples do not need to be removed). Business or commercial documents should not be brought.

PCC volunteers and credit union staff will accept donations of any amount to fund scholarships and benefit the college’s students through the Colorado Community College System Foundation.
