Governor Hickenlooper Visits PCC to Support Project Access
Governor John Hickenlooper visited Pueblo Community College on Friday, May 22 to lend his support to the institution’s Project Access program and recognize PCC as being the first state institution of higher education to coordinate the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative.
PCC’s Project ACCESS program and PCC’s wraparound services will offer the necessary services in which to allow students to succeed.
After a brief introduction by PCC President Dr. Patty Erjavec and comments by the Governor, Andrea Larson, a recent PCC graduate, offered her comments on how PCC’s wraparound services are “make or break” for many students like her.
Immediately following the ceremony, the Governor and others donned PCC T-Shirts in support of the institution and its efforts to provide world-class educational opportunities to the people of Southern Colorado.
